Goodbye Summer

This is the first and last warm day of the year.  The summer was not so great here. I know it was my only chance to have  the sun  touch my legs before  the cold months ahead of me. Goodbye summer I will miss you.

Vintage United Colors of Benetton Back Pack

I snatched this vintage United Colors of Benetton back pack and coin purse at the IJ Hallen, a monthly flee market in Amsterdam Noord. But there was one problem with the back pack, when it was full it would just open. A perfect bag for pickpocketers.

This was my solution. I found it at a little fabric shop.  I was there to look for fabric for my next project and when I sow this I thought perfect. 

I had some tan leather at home that I used in the attachment.  Problem solved!
